The Detailing Spot has a 30-day return policy, on most items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Polishers being returned have a 7 day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. See specific details below.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN:

Items being returned must be made within 30 days, after receiving your items, in their original packaging, tags and branded materials, in unused condition, accompanied by a copy of your original receipt.

Polishers being returned must be made within 7 days, after receiving your items, in their original packaging, tags and branded materials, in unused condition, accompanied by a copy of your original receipt.

Any used equipment, such as polishers, foam cannons, IK Sprayers, etc. is not returnable and must go through the manufacturer’s warranty process.

To start a return, you can contact us at thedetailingspotfarmington@gmail.com. Please note that accepted returns will need to be sent to the address we provide you. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The Detailing Spot will process returns in the order in which they are received and taken on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to inspect all returns to ensure the return criteria is met.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Damages and issues

Once received, please inspect your order and contact us immediately if the item(s) is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as used items, items with missing or damaged (caused by the customer) original packaging, tags or branded materials, if applicable. Clearance items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned. Giftcard purchases cannot be returned. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges

If the incorrect item was sent, we want to make it right, right away. The fastest way to ensure you get the correct item is to return the incorrect item, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the correct item.
